Hi Nikolay - we open tickets with customers to alert them when their payments fail. We then suspend services for days before deleting them - all with prior notice. We understand the frustration on your side, but like you said, your Image should still be available for deployment with a new IP. Wow @linode after being purchased by @Akamai hit a new low. Card payment failed, all my sites deleted. Apparently I can still restore the last image to a new node with different address. Good to know which services to avoid. Migrating the f out.

Hi Bret- we charge based on the plan you deploy and not the distribution. We use a hybrid hourly billing model where you can continuously add, modify, and remove services throughout the month. Once the month ends, you receive an invoice for the hourly usage of each service up to the monthly cap. It's important to note that we charge for services on an account whether it is powered off or not actively being used. This is because data is still maintained and resources, such as RAM and network capacity are still reserved. You'll need to remove the service to avoid additional charges. @chkdskexe Hi there - we understand losing a feature you use can be frustrating. It's worth noting that the intention is to replace LISH access through SSH with an improved tool. In the meantime web-LISH and GLISH will still be available for use.
