Turkey didn't fire a single shot in this war. They tried to stop it before it started. Washington didn't listen.
Now Turkey is stuck. If Iran's regime collapses, it gets chaos and a refugee crisis on its doorstep.
If the regime survives, it gets a hostile, battle-hardened neighbor.
If the U.S. arms Kurdish fighters inside Iran, it could reignite the PKK conflict Turkey spent years trying to end.
And Europe is already eyeing Turkey as a buffer zone for the refugee wave. Just like with Syria in 2015.
