@abc7ellen There is no issue more critical than finding a way to save our constitutional democracy, and the extremism and polarization in both parties is destroying the playing fields of our republic. But I'm not sure all.issues are susceptible to a "common sense".

@pattie517 So glad, Pattie. My daughter lost her sense of smell for.over a year and has regained about 80%. I wish you a full recovery!

@ Costco today. Someone walked by me with freshly washed hair. I thought "Oh. That's nice. I wonder what shampoo they used?" Everyone. I SMELLED SOMETHING. My sense of smell is coming back! #COVID #covidrecovery

Where, exactly, would this 245 year experiment in democracy be if France had not provided us with military support? Yes, I know there were no nukes then, but France risked devastation, nevertheless.

My dad, a retired fire chief, installed a grill for me tonight. He told me he was finished by coming into the house and announcing, “I am the god of hellfire!” I asked him how many times he announced that while fighting wildfires. He said at every single one. Dads are the best.

@BillKristol Thank you for your genuine patriotism. Finally had a chance to tour Gettysburg two weeks ago and see what I had merely read about in The Killer Angels, Stars in Their Course, etc. Simultaneously exhilarating and sobering.
