You know what’s funny? People keep posting Ronaldo’s 07/08, 09/10, 11/12, 12/13 comps because that was his real peak. That was the version of him that looked generational. But the 3-peat era clips they use for “GOAT” debates? Way harder to find because the football itself wasn’t on that same elite level, and it doesn’t hold up when comparing him to the very top. That’s the problem: if your best football and your biggest achievements don’t fully match up, it becomes hard to argue top 3 ever when others had both.
