@crerrity As a true Star Wars fan, all I do now is pass on the new Star Wars shows. It's painful, but I had to learn how to just ignore them. They're meaningless now. The balance between craftsmanship and profit worries from the Lucas era is gone. Craftsmanship is punished at Lucasfilm.

@McCarterShanon Yup, but it started with Solo and Episode 9. The original directors for Solo wanted a comedy, but no - it had to please "true fans". The original Episode 9 plot had Evil Kylo and Revolutionary Finn, but "true fans" would hate the idea. The Acolyte disaster is just the last straw.
