The World Cup is obviously much more romanticised (and rightly so), but the champions league is a higher level especially when you reach the final stages of the competition due to the quality of the squads. @ScyllaSnipez But with Laf it did start before the Rangers, too. His rep controlled requests to Rimouski. Like pulling teeth (multiple requests, follow ups, etc.) just to be told he couldn’t talk that day. I and others (including league media!) couldn’t get him in person on the road, etc.

Such a dogged competitor in stick level battles across all 200ft & has real trickery when attacking in transition, never mind eating big minutes in all situations.
