He’s saying the right thing. Props to him. Could literally call that every play. It was a horrible call. Had no bearing on him catching the ball. Also initial contact was within 5 yards, which means they literally threw the flag on the tiny tug which meant nothing on the play.

@michael_schlact Extend the zone to more than pitches you “want” to hit, looking for contact. Don’t take a called 3rd strike. One thing I’ve never heard is foul pitches off. Like it easy to intentionally hit foul balls.
