@mikeoniron Rows and then squats the next day is too much, for me. I like the day in between for my lower back/erectors and not having 2 days off in a row.
@mikespy2 I might get to that point in a few weeks. Im kind of building into this program and the volume isnt very high so the recovery for legs feels fine right now.
Just thinking about my new split.
How would you structure rest days?
This is what I have so far:
Push A
Pull A
Legs A
Arms
Off
Off
Push B
Pull B
Legs B
Arms
I haven’t taken 2 rest days in a row like that for a long time.
@mikeoniron I see much bigger arms in your future!
I’d take a day off before legs, but I also don’t like 2 days in a row off. Makes me feel lazy and bored.
@Doc_Red_ This cut will be much easier than the previous. Following @user_mm_ advice about peri-workout nutrition, I think I’m about 300 calories more compared to my old eating habits.
@Doc_Red_ It used to be 25 but I always want more. At 1.1g/lb isn’t enough. Post workout (breakfast #2) is 570 calories 38p 103c 2f. When the cut ends, only 3 days in, about 250 more calories from carbs.
@7_investor Grocery shopping has become crazy expensive. Similar to Maui which is about 25% more than the rest of America. Need to get ripped and start selling feet pics and underwear.
