@DonsCentre @WomblesDream @DonsOnTour As a 20 year old fan, I sometimes feel as though my point of view wouldn’t be appreciated/respected simply due to the language in which they address fans through their content. No hate to DTB they do a good job but could be more engaging/accessible.

@DonsCentre @WomblesDream @DonsOnTour If we continue with fan ownership, I think the Dons Trust is the way to go, but I do have issues with their comms. The language used and the way in which they word things comes across quite condescending/patronising which makes it difficult to want to engage with their content.

🗣️ My opinions on the Dons Trust from a younger generations POV: Just watching the video of the SGM meeting and I think within the first 15-20 minutes just proves as to why we should really just commit to the 50+1. Yes I know I’m probably gonna get a bit of stick for saying that 🤣 As someone who would be branded within the “younger generation of fans” my opinion is… I honestly think “The Dons Trust” in theory is really good at National League level and below but in practise I don’t think it’s sustainable within The Football League, it just creates a divide within the football club (as you can see if you watch the video) The average age within the SGM is probably about 45-50 which is insane because you see on Matchdays in the South and East stand the amount of younger fans we get now far exceeds the Kingsmeadow days but not only that, away games as well the age is ever decreasing which is good imo but these younger fans when they give their opinions on the club they never get listened to because it was “you never experienced the Selhurst days so you don’t understand” so therefore it creates a very gate-keeped “hierarchy” We’re in sort of a transition faze from the back of end of the Wimbledon FC day’s to the next generation of Wimbledon fans and include myself in this as someone in my early 20s and the more we realise that it’s about to be 2025 and we are a professional football club that plays within The Football League and not 2006 and play in the Ryman Prem the better. Any “Younger” fans of Wimbledon it’d be interesting to hear your POV on The Dons Trust ⤵️ #AFCW
