@DarenChidwick @GillsInTheBlood One thing I didn't point out with Harris is that despite him giving full effort when needed defensively he can be caught out when he loses track of runners. Much better when he spends most of his time past the half way line. I also worry about a 33 year old losing pace overnight.

@GillsInTheBlood @OneUpFrontSCFC A good read and I always enjoy his contributions when he appears on the match previews. We don't have a LB currently so could we be looking to play WB's? If so perhaps we should consider Mnoga also.

Thank you, I'm sure @OneUpFrontSCFC will also be interested in this. Postecoglou connection is intriguing. I imagine the appointment came about by Gary Neville speaking to him in New York off-air on the set at ITV about good coaches he's worked with. Otherwise, doubt he'd have been identified.

@AnfieldPapers Saw him pull off almost exactly the same move many times in @LFC's U-18's and 21's. Normally sent it high and wide from what I remember. He was mostly a very greedy player who ignored teammates who he should have passed to. Can't believe the amount of hype around this lad.

Barnsley and Stockport are reportedly monitoring Salford City midfielder Ossama Ashley following the expiry of his contract this summer. Ashley enjoyed a standout 2024/25 campaign with Salford, recording the highest interception tally in League Two with 71 while also winning the club’s Supporters’ Player of the Year award thanks to his relentless work rate and defensive dominance in midfield. His 2025/26 season proved more difficult, with squad rotation and limited matchday involvement reducing his overall impact before his contract expired in June 2026. Known for his athleticism, intensity and aggressive ball-winning ability, the 24-year-old has previously developed through AFC Wimbledon, West Ham United U23s and Colchester United, building a reputation as a hard-working midfield anchor who stylistically appears well suited to Daniel Stendel’s high-energy system.
