This paper claimed they had removed bias when comparing with the unvaccinated and yet by every measure deaths were massively lower in the vaccinated group. They then claimed they checked their numbers by comparing risk before and after vaccination in the same individuals - self control. These were DEATH rates. The dead do not get vaccinated. What they really did was compare whole population rates with vaccinated rates - reinforcing the earlier bias. This is not science! x.com/ClareCraigPath…

The BMJ has a bad habit of recycling junk science. When I write rapid responses to these "news" items they do not even acknowledge receipt let alone publish them. I despair. Tweet below for problems in this paper:
