@_samspike_ I applaud the nuance but as a key oracle in the 1st flush of modern digital art, I would suggest these as waves & movements not distinct entities. #cryptoart for me either lies on or interacts w the culture of blockchain & digital processes. This enough of a defining factor.

@fx_hash_ @artblocks_io Stating the obvious? Still not fun to 'waste' $50-100 on every $ETH transaction (even if DeFi & volatility & 'early entry' have speculative upside). = a tax on trading art in the most liquid market Saying this is the cost of entry into the innovation space doesn't cut it.

Simpler solutions win. Quicker solutions win. Cheaper solutions win. = Reasons why @fx_hash_ is more fun/satisfying than @artblocks_io (discounting the differences in curation/heritage)

Why is #web3 tech so complicated for the average user? Yes it is fun when you've levelled up past the entry gate, but as a barrier to entry & mass adoption it is currently failing More focus on this by builders pls.

04.27.22 - Daily Market Review 🧵: Very very red today as prices keep retracing and volume keeps bleeding lower. Today over 80+% of projects were red in the top 50 volume chart with very few collections making positive moves. People continue to liquidate and sell PFP projects:

▀ Have pretty much everything lined up for newsletter & podcast pipeline now. But didn't hesitate to pause and realign to urgent family stuff. Remember, whatever the imperative on socials/projects, nothing comes close to critical focus for friends & family when they need you.

Fun fact: if VEVE NFTs were interoperable and I could buy them on Immutable with Ethereum, I would spend all my OpenSea money on them... You can't imagine the volume of money that will go in there... Brands that are slow with interoperability, will FOMO in fast... #veve #omi
