@PatrickRuffini It’s polarized with negative animus mostly, I think RCV would be fantastic in general elections and allow for third parties to get some sway

It’s pretty clear that the US political system is polarized and that RCV won’t do much to induce more political parties. But the use case in primaries is clear and if you can remove doubt about spoiler candidacies changing outcomes that increases trust on the margins.

I think it’s fine to admit, as @leedrutman does here, that a reform like RCV can be worthwhile without producing game-changing effects across the entire political system. open.substack.com/pub/leedrutman…

@peeplaja @JJWatt Also, from a non-professional athlete perspective, the difference between an ok and amazing employee might not be talent, but hustle. Incentivize an employee to hit goals and they'll hustle harder. Allow them to own their own compensation, I've worked with this, it's great
