Round 20 Player Milestone: James Sicily
Hawthorn captain James Sicily is set to play game 150 this week when the Hawks take on the Crows.
Sicily was drafted by Hawthorn with Pick 56 in the 2013 National Draft and has had a 🎢 career.
After playing the entire 2014 season for Box Hill in the VFL, Sicily made his debut in Round 2,2015 against the Bombers & played his early career as a forward.
Struggling as a forward in his first few season’s, he was 🔄 to the backline in 2017.
A few 💵 fines & suspensions & a knee reconstruction later, ⏩ to today & Sicily has become a ⭐️ of the competition and more importantly a great leader. 👏 👏 on 150 games.

It’s all good though, trading Titch and O’Meara was a masterstroke - you’ll give your young mids exposure at the level! I’m yet to see anything that convinces me that Sam Mitchell can coach - games against Collingwood do not count when it comes to Hawthorn’s form
