When it comes to Jose Mourinho's comments about Vinicius Junior alleging he was racially abused by a Benfica player, it is difficult to know where to start. But the line about Benfica legend Eusebio is as good a place as any. The idea that because the greatest player in the club’s history is Black, therefore nobody connected with them could possibly be racist, is at best surreal and absurd, at worst vicious gaslighting. Mourinho was, in effect, telling Vinicius that he didn’t hear what he says he heard — because there’s a statue of a black footballer outside Estadio da Luz. Then there’s the criticism of Vinicius for celebrating in what Mourinho deems to be an inappropriate manner. And then the killer, the repeated slur that is often aimed towards Vinicius. The implication that this is all his fault. “There is something wrong because it happens in every stadium. Every stadium where Vinicius plays, something happens. Since the release of Revision Zero, the team has been monitoring a rise in error codes. A bug deep in the way that the new exotic was set up is causing some pretty gnarly game/API issues, resulting in full server crashes (which boots hundreds of people at a given time). (1/5)

How we feeling?

@PixelsofMark I've been told 2 different things from friends. 1: "Ranked" sounds serious and they think they will play super serious matches against really good players. "Quick play", "Pubs" etc sounds more chill. 2: Some fun things are removed from the ranked playlist (modes, weapons etc.).

Honest question. If you are a below-average player what is it about a Ranked mode that turns you off? Or does it turn you off?

@PixelsofMark @PlayXDefiant I'm not sure I can give a good, unbiased answer to that. It's been a long time since those games, so I might not be remembering right, and I was around top 10% I think. But I can tell what SBMM does for those of my friends who are not very good at shooters.

@nickholmberg @PlayXDefiant Did you feel CoD4, MW2, and other older CoDs had that problem?
