If a coworker has a car and lives near my house, and drives me to work every day, am I obligated to chip in for gas?

This San Antonio, Texas Chick-fil-A manager has gone viral for praying for his customers and encouraging them to “stick to God” during lunch. More of this, please! God bless him. 🙏

there is something in these photos that nobody is talking about. the earth, seen from the moon’s surface, is a crescent. the same shape we see the moon from earth. which means from where these astronauts stood, our entire world, every human being alive, every city, every ocean, every mountain, was receiving light the same way the moon does. dependent. reflective. not a source but a receiver. and God placed both of them, earth and moon, in a gravitational relationship so precise that if either one shifted slightly, the conditions for life dissolve completely. He did not just create them. He positioned them. He calibrated the distance. He calculated the tilt. He set the orbital speed. and then He rested. what that tells me about God is something i am still processing. He is not a God who creates carelessly and steps back. He is a God who creates with intention so deep that billions of years later, the greatest scientific mission of our generation goes out there and finds everything exactly where He left it. the craters on that moon are not evidence of chaos. they are evidence of endurance. of something built to absorb impact and remain. God put that quality into the moon because it is His own quality. He absorbs everything this world throws at existence and remains. unchanged. unshaken. still in orbit. still faithful. still holding everything He made in the dark.

Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back. Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: nasa.gov/artemis-ii-mul…

I didn’t survive a pandemic, The Great Recession, 9/11, smoking in restaurants, O.J. Simpson, the Challenger explosion, two wars, boomer parents, Hurricane Katrina, Columbine, Y2K, AND a Corey Feldman album to be taken out by goddamn Donald Trump.

Brad Pitt strangled a child. It was reported by the STAFF on their private flight because he brutalised his family so badly. She divorced him because he assaulted her and their children and he is dragging this shit out to punish her for leaving. She wanted out of the vineyard partnership specifically because alcohol fuelled his violence. He’s a disgusting pig.

Did y'all watch Thunder vs Lakers last night?? I feel so bad for James Jr. The pressure his father has put on him to feed his own ego is abusive.

@SaP011 Why is there always something in these stories that make you say "what?'. Why did she go into an abandoned building looking for her property?

She was Desirée Mariottini, an Italian girl. She was only 16 years old. Desirée went to an abandoned building looking for a tablet her mother had given her, which had been stolen a few days earlier. There she was approached by Yusef Salia, an African immigrant, who gave her a lethal dose of drugs, a mix of methadone, crack, heroin and psychotropic substances. Then, while she was dazed, he took her by the hand and dragged her into a container. He threw her on a filthy mattress covered in garbage. That’s where the horror began. She was stripped and repeatedly raped for hours by African immigrants, taking turns. At first she tried to resist, the investigators noted the signs of struggle on her body. Forensic experts confirmed that “the laceration of the hymen occurred shortly before her death.” In other words, the minor lost her virginity as a result of the violence she suffered. Even when she lost consciousness and was dying, they continued. When they were done with her, they abandoned her there naked and left. They did nothing to help her. They deliberately left her there to die. “Better her dead than us in prison”, this is the phrase that, according to some witnesses, three of the four monsters uttered. They were sentenced as follows: - Mamadou Gara, illegal African immigrant: life imprisonment - Yusef Salia, African immigrant: life imprisonment - Brian Minteh, illegal African immigrant: 24 years and 6 months - Alinno Chima, African immigrant: 27 years A witness reported that the rapists were not 4 but at least 7, all African immigrants. Three were never found.

🚨 JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED — GOD IS MOVING! 🔥 Jaden Ivey was fired from the Chicago Bulls simply for stating his opinions and standing on what he believes. But God doesn’t play about His anointed. As a result, the GM and VP of the Bulls have now been fired! Touch not My anointed, says the Lord. God is with Jaden Ivey. What was meant for evil, God is turning for good. The same God who protected David is protecting His own today. This is poetic justice straight from heaven. When you stand for truth, heaven backs you up. Never be ashamed to speak what God puts on your heart — even in the NBA. Who else sees the hand of God in this? 🙌 #JadenIvey #TouchNotMyAnointed #GodIsWithHim #ChicagoBulls #ChristianAthlete #StandForTruth

I am so frustrated! We have new neighbors who have moved in, and their two cats are using my raised beds as their personal potty. As many of my friends know, I’m not a cat person. Not on my counters where I cook, not destroying my furniture, and not in my garden beds!

It's becoming clear that the folks pissed off by my posts are simply ignorant as fuck. If you bought a home in the 1950s you were probably born in the 1930s. Boomers were born 1946-1964. If even the first boomer bought a house for 10K in 1955, they'd only be 9 years old. Boomers bought homes in the 1970s and 80s. In 1981, interest rates peaked at 16-18 percent. In 1981, when rates peaked, the monthly principal and interest payment for a $55,000 home at 16% would have been approximately $740 per month. Adjusted for inflation to 2024 dollars, that same monthly payment would be equivalent to roughly $2,600 per month. (not including taxes and insurance). Learn some facts, Button.
Buttonlovesyou@buttonhatesyou

@loonlake55 14% mortgage rates?!!!! Oh. Right. Houses were 10k.🥴 This is a lot of words to show that Boomers didn’t have the kind of expenses that exist today.
