Lebanese here. Israel destroyed our house in 1976, I was five. We were ethnically cleansed to another town. Israel destroyed our home again in 1982, I was 11. We escaped with our life and rebuilt our home. Israel destroyed it again in 2024. No one believes your lies.

“He opposes any two-state solution that seeks to preserve a Jewish majority in Israel.” We must stop acting like this is some neutral or reasonable position. Advocating for the removal of Jewish self-governance is advocating for, at best, the subjugation of Jews as a minority in yet another Arab state, and at worst, our total destruction.

one counterpoint: in Go, human play showed very little improvement from 1950 to 2016 until alphago beat lee sedol - then human decision quality jumped. players started developing moves that were distinct both from previous human moves and from the novel moves introduced by machine intelligence
this seems more likely to me - fun times ahead

The cartoon series Tom & Jerry remains iconic. You might see the music by Scott Bradley as being trivial, but it is a highly sophisticated fusion of Jazz & modern classical music. If is devilishly difficult to play.
Sometimes atonal, (lacking harmony) it also reflects the increasing use of percussion, which is mainly a classical music initiative.
You can just imagine Tom getting his comeuppance.
