@ThunderCast_Pod There was one long pass late in the game from the backup QB who saw a defensive alignment that was an ‘automatic’ check to a pass. After that, Miami’s coach told the QB to hand it off no matter what he saw. After the game that coach apologized to Lengyel for the pass (2/2)

On this date 30 YEARS AGO…. Paintsville pulled off a HUGE upset of Lexington Catholic in the @KHSAA “Sweet 16.”
NOTE: Just two weeks earlier, in the last game of the regular season, Lexington Catholic had beat visiting Paintsville, 96-82, and at one time were up by 28!

Kansas, voted as the unanimous #1 team after the cancellation of the tournament always killed me. Arguably Bill Self’s best constructed team ever. Schools like Dayton, SDSU, Gonzaga, Duke, Sparty, FSU, Baylor, etc not getting a chance to win it either sucks so much. Pain.
