Wat zo krachtig is aan Revolut? Dat is de user experience. Bij mijn Belgische bank kreeg ik vroeger een plastieke kaart en een strandbal als gadget als ik geluk gehad. Bij Revolut open je je app en daar begint je customer experience al. In een vloeiende en gebruiksvriendelijke manier krijg ik de optie om een kaart te designen waarna men deze gratis opstuurt naar de hele wereld. Dit weekend heb ik deze besteld En woensdag kreeg ik het bericht van DHL Express dat mijn kaart er al was in de Filipijnen (ik zat nog in Taiwan). Zaterdag de kaart dan opgehaald. Deze zat in een zwarte stijlvolle verpakking. Je doet hem open en in echte origami stijl opent het pakket zichzelf. En hoe je jezelf voelt? Je voelt jezelf voor even exclusief en alsof je een geschenk hebt gekregen. Je eigen metalen kaart zoals jij hem wilt. En dat gevoel blijft plakken. Iets wat ik nooit ervaren heb bij een Belgische bank. Je kan die metalen kaart trouwens 1 keer per jaar gratis bestellen (ik heb er zo al 5 besteld). Ik betaal er in Bulgarije 150 euro voor per jaar om Revolut klant te zijn, geld dat ik al terug krijg door mijn spaargeld op hun geldmarktfonds te zetten (een soort dagelijkse spaarrekening). Ongeveer 10.000 euro. Ik ben fan van Revolut. Als Belgische banken ooit het gevoel aan hun klanten kunnen geven zoals Revolut mij doet voelen, hebben ze een toekomst. Maar anders bankier ik liever met hun. En ook voor mijn ondernemingen waar ik bij hun klant ben sinds 2021. Is gewoon makkelijker.
