Not sure what to think after a spring with transfer portal & NIL. Both have redeeming features for players. But, without leadership & oversight, there will be unintended consequences. Low/mid-major hoops is over in next 10 years. Those who wanted D-1 for 75 schools will get it.

@franfraschilla I don’t even think there are 75 schools that can compete with the dollars that are being spent and this is the top of the iceberg. I also think the scholarships should go to the walk-ons and managers now that the kids can pay for school or the NIL deal can include school.

@PrepHoops I wouldn’t want my son to play for a coach that doesn’t value him enough as a human being to want him to have all of life’s experiences.
