Having a net worth of ₹1 crore is nothing in today’s world. You live no less than a cockroach.
You can’t even afford a 3BHK flat, a car, and good education for your children with that wealth.
The minimum amount you need to live with safety and comfort in today’s economy is ₹5 crore.
By the age of 40, you should have at least ₹1 crore of cash flow if you genuinely want a good life for your family.
The costs of health, safety, comfort, and education are rising at a rate higher than you could imagine.

I know someone who has lost over 50L in FnO trading.
But he still trades and thinks that he can recover his money.
Has taken loan , took his parents help to pay off the debt .
How can I explain him ??
He wont stop , and wont accept that he cannot make money..

I've been in the stock market since 2018...
Earlier, after office hours I used to trade crude and zinc... sometimes stocks too, obviously based on someone else's recommendation.
End of 2021, beginning of 2022... around that time Vivek Sir's video showed up on my timeline... my life completely changed after that...
Watching Sir's videos all day changed my entire way of thinking....
I've been following Sir since then...
My capital kept going into my regular job... there was no system... nor any fixed amount...
I left my job in mid-2022...
After that I added my savings, PF, some mutual funds... little by little...
I haven't taken any financial help from anyone... neither from my husband nor from my parents or in-laws...
Expense tracking: I've had this habit ever since I got married... I keep an account of every single rupee... like typical home maker 😂

My college friend -a tech guy- earns ₹52 LPA in Bangalore.
Bought a 3BHK in Whitefield Bangalore last year. Wife + One small kid.
Last week he called me sounding completely broken:
“Bro… I’m actually going broke.”
I laughed.
“Bro, 52 lakh package? Stop joking.”
Then he showed me the real numbers.
Monthly take-home: ₹2.85 Lakh
Expenses:
• ₹1.08L → Home loan EMI
• ₹35k → One kid’s school fees
• ₹28k → Groceries & milk
• ₹18k → Society maintenance
• ₹18k → Maid + cook + nanny
• ₹15k → Car EMI + fuel
• ₹12k → Electricity, water, WiFi
• ₹45k → Family health insurance
Total: ₹2.93 Lakh
He is short ₹8,000 every month… before festivals, date nights, or any emergency.
A decade ago?
The same flat + same lifestyle needed only ₹18–20 lakh salary.
