Why don’t we start by not being terrible to each other. เข้าร่วม Şubat 2009

@nightowl3216 @ReviewsPossum I am aware. What I am saying is different brands make different club lines— a 9 iron from one brand isn’t the same as a 9 from another. They both comply with requirements of what a 9 iron must be, but there are still vast differences in club designs.

@patrick_dixon @ReviewsPossum The rules on what kind of clubs can be used are about how the club is made not what brand it is. It restricts things like how the face is shaped or how springy the club can be to prevent people having an unfair advantage from their club.

So my daughter had a test and asked her teacher if she was going to grade them over the weekend so she could know her grade on Monday. Her teachers reply “I’m not spending my weekend grading papers.” Okay then.. moving forward my children will not spending their after school hours doing hours of homework. They will not spending their weekend working on projects. They can do that during school time then.

@nightowl3216 @ReviewsPossum I don’t disagree that there are rules, governing clubs. However, within the accepted club lines, there is a wide variety of differences between brands and technologies.

@Variety I feel like they are building enough cast to have the spin-off “night shift” crew to alternate with the current “day shift” crew…

The only puppy I'm not a fan of. Scrappy's debut was the moment Scooby jumped the 🦈, IMO.

@Chaosium_Inc @GreatNoontide @SandyofCthulhu It doesnt come off that way so much as it feels like a dig against Sandy. But, I’ll take your word for it. Side note, love that Mythos card. Was such a fun game, shame it didn‘t catch on…

@GreatNoontide @patrick_dixon @SandyofCthulhu Yes, without a doubt Sandy is a living gaming legend. Likewise, his Ghostbusters co-designers Lynn Willis and Greg Stafford are gaming legends too. However, they're both dead, so they're unable to be part of this new discussion. We honor all their accomplishments and legacy.

Sandy, we hope you're doing well. The d6 dice pool system was a major evolution in TTRPG design; you should justifiably proud of being part of the Chaosium team who created it for the Ghostbusters RPG. Here's the credits for that game. nb Greg & Lynn are sadly no longer with us.

Sandy Petersen 🪔@SandyofCthulhu

I invented the d6 pool system for my Ghostbusters roleplaying game. It has since been used in several other games (usually without credit because you can't copyright a game system) including the Star Wars roleplaying game. So my argument is that a d6 system works great.

I understand why Gen X and other adults didn’t like these movies, but they’ve been seething for over 25 years at the fact that kids back then genuinely did enjoy them. They have problems for sure and some people overstate the case for the prequels, but it’s long time to move on.

@alexpardee I was a kid in the 90s, so I have the mental image of Sam as the guy with a mustache in Wizard. So weird to see him in video looking like a baby face. Dude was one of my favorite, still shocked he passed so young…

Thinking about Sam Kieth a lot. He means the world to me. Been digging into my archives and found this clip I never shared of us from 2010, and I love it. Sam Kieth forever.

@BlackMajikMan90 No one wants “new ideas”. It’s a book series with a large fucking amount of source material. We don’t need to see some bullshit the writers for this garbage made up. Fuck you, retard

What Twitter doesn’t seem to realize is that the Harry Potter Show is a combination of four big factors. 1. We are far enough away from the OG series that it’s nostalgic; we are in peak late 90s/early 00s nostalgia as we speak. 2. The show is going to include everything from the books; including new ideas. This will interest countless book fans and OG film lovers who felt that the movies left too much out. 3. This is Harry Potter for a brand new generation. The kids who watched those original films are now parents; parents who will be showing this to their kids for the first time. 4. It’s HBO and is being run by the best of the best. This is the perfect storm, with a Christmas 2026 release date as the cherry on top. The ratings are going to be historic.

#ttrpg #RPGstuffdaily Dark Dungeons. A Jack Chick tract. Oh yeah, the original crazy from the time of the Satanic Panic. I’m not sure if Jack Chick was just a huckster or legitimately delusional. After 48 years of GMing across genres, I’d be a very hearty threat to reality itself. 🤣🤣🤣 What a clown.

Arguing with stupid people is a bad idea because stupid people are extremely ingenious in applying their stupidity. You can present them with facts, arguments, and proof that they are wrong, contradicting themselves, or mistaken. And they will flabbergast you by pretending that doesn't matter. Or move to a statement or position that is so utterly dumb, you yourself are dumbfounded by it. Your silence is then taken as a win by stupid people. In your attempt to maintain your own sanity by ceasing to "debate" them, they also see a victory. The world is stupid because stupid people wear down everyone else by the constant and creative onslaught of their stupidity.

Could you produce a single complete Bible before the 16th century with only 66 books? And who, in history, with binding authority, fixed the canon at 66 books instead of 73? I’ll wait.

I know it's a tired critique. If they aren't playing Mulder & Scully, if it's not the same show, why call it THE X-FILES? Don't worry, I know why. I'm just talking out loud.
Variety@Variety

Ryan Coogler’s "X-Files" pilot has cast Himesh Patel alongside previously announced star Danielle Deadwyler. According to an individual with knowledge of the project, the two will play entirely new characters — not new versions of Fox Mulder or Dr. Dana Scully. wp.me/pc8uak-1lH4lU
