@guzu_p The audacity with which you gave this flawed analysis is concerning. You must really know her story. What’s worse is the ones who’d have their minds warped with takes like this. There could be some valid ‘what ifs’, but reducing it to a 1 dimensional POV is the real issue.

Age: 38 = Has only 1kb of egg left in her ovaries. Virginity status: A non virgin Genotype: AS = Second hand value Preferred State: Igbo = Still picky in her decline Type of man: I am looking for a born again Christian, hardworking, financially stable man = A corolla competing for a Rolls Royce This is a woman who has hit the wall, lost value in the dating market, and has become an evening newspaper but she's still stating her standards and demanding certain qualities whereas she's not in a position to. This should better explain to you how she lived her prime. Now, the question you should ask yourself is; didn't men approach her in her prime? One fact about every woman is at some point, they were approached by a good guy but discharged them as boring. Women only know the importance of good men after they lost value in the dating market and are desperate for marriage. Then, you see them clamoring for a God fearing man whereas they were opening their legs for the bad boys in their prime. Kings, never be the retirement plan of an evening newspaper. A woman who didn't give you her prime doesn't deserve you in her decline. NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS!

@asemota !!! One of life’s best experience is when limiting beliefs are broken Once you recognize the world’s abundance, you realize there’s no fixed limit to wealth or opportunity Poverty often starts in the mind. A refusal to see/use one’s creative ability, even when the means exist

I still remember 2004, when I went to England for my best man’s wedding and experienced very fast Internet for the first time, which was more than the 4 Mbps we had in the office in Lagos. I couldn't sleep as I downloaded everything onto my laptop to take back home. This was after we had done a $300m telco deal and I had executed a $4m SAP project back home. You can be making a lot of money in a place and still have less access to the basic privileges others have outside in a saner place. This is why I try to avoid many arguments with Nigerians here, as they argue from their frame of reference and lived experience, not the reality of most others in the world. They can be exposed and have money, but they are still mentally poor as I was in 2004. I had to go live in the UK in 2005 and attend school for many of my misconceptions and beliefs to change. Some people also live in the same UK and still have this sufferhead mentality as they don't leave London. I went all over and saw things that changed me completely. My visit to Cornwall is still my most profound. My old customer and mentor started a business after retirement that was making over £4m in monthly profit, and is still a quiet landowner and farmer. My frame of reference shifted from hoarding and flaunting wealth to sensible investing and building. A recent revelation that many Americans have a net worth of over $30m shocked people. It shows how the same poverty mindset is prevalent globally, and many don't see the other side. Some even thought it was largely due to crime. A few criminals make plenty of money, but trust me, many more people make much more money legally. I would rather try to understand how people use their unfair advantages and find mine than to engage in circus-like behavior that glorifies criminals or accuses people I don't know of crimes. There is too much abundance in this world that we are not yet tapping into.

Call me Old school But i don't buy the idea of expelling students in University caught having sex. What i will expect the school to do is chastise them for having sex in a classroom, teach them how to use a condom, teach them safe sex and connect them to youth centers.

Expelling students for having sex is too extreme. Zero consequences is equally dangerous. The answer is simple: Educate. Counsel. Provide contraception access. Then apply proportionate punishment, not expulsion. You cannot punish people for problems you refused to educate them about. But you cannot ignore people you refused to hold accountable either. Discipline and education were always meant to work together.

Let me tell you the true version of this story that I know happened in Bowen University in 2005. The bookshop in Bowen University at the time shared the same building with Sterling bank. The building was behind Odili hall and it was not really built to be a bank. It was a branch the bank opened to take advantage of a start-up project like Bowen University with was just three years old at the time. One afternoon, a student went into the bookshop and sneaked into their toilet. From the toilet he climbed into the ceiling and waited there all night. In the middle of the night, he opened the ceiling of the bank and climbed into the bank. He opened the safe and cleared out all the cash (local and foreign currency). He found his way back to the ceiling and went back into the bookshop through the roof. He opened the door of the bookshop from within and escaped without beibg detected. The next challenge was how to sneak into the hostels undetected at that time of the day. All hostels were locked down by 10pm at the time. He decided to wait until morning, when students would flood the school area and the hostel would be open for all. He had the option of hiding in one of the classrooms or in the forest. He also had the option of hiding his loot in the forest while returning to hide in one of the classrooms. The school area is heavily patrolled by unarmed security men with torchlights during the night. This was usually to discourage male and female students from hiding out in classrooms to do what some young people like to do at that age Many of the classrooms were old and had nothing of value in them (they were built in the 60s when the school was a teacher training institute) This young man opted to sneak into Agric Workshop and wait it out with his loot. He hid there till 5am. One security man randomly heard someone snoring on his final patrol ajd went into the hall to investigate He found the 17 year old boy fast asleep and snoring. He said he had patrolled and checked the classroom before and didnt see anybody there and asked him where he suddenly surfaced from. The boy lied that he went there to read and slept off. The security man was not satisfied. He told the boy to open his bag and show him the books he had been reading. The boy began to beg him with some money to let him be. The man raised an alarm. Other security men came around and forcefully took his from him. When they opened it they saw money with Sterling bank stamps everywhere! They detained him until morning, called the Vice Chancellor. The bank manager was called and je rushed to campus He opened the bank and it was confirmed that he had robbed the bank. He was paraded round the school and handed over to the police. His parents later came to the hostel to pack his things. I was in 100 level when this happened!

Mr. Akin, was a Head of Operations at First Bank for 6 years, he felt his salary couldn’t support his desired lifestyle, He then teamed up with armed robbers to rob his branch, He gave them key info about the bank, that on Saturday they opened for few hours, & only two guards works on Sunday, & he also gave them their vault Rooms details, One robber entered on Saturday, hide in the ceiling via the bathroom, and was locked inside when the bank closed, on Sunday morning around 4 a.m, he opened a secret exit door, Then Three more robbers entered, while the two guards were deep at asleep, They looted huge amounts of naira and foreign currencies from the vault using Mr. Akin’s instructions, then escaped the same way, On Monday, the vault was found empty, Police were called, & The branch was closed, duty guards were arrested, All staff were investigated and banned from leaving town, Police searched homes quietly, starting from the GM, When they reached Mr. Akin’s house, he resisted and called his manager who said his own house had already been searched, Police entered & found large sums of cash Naira & Dollars and arrested him, He confessed fully and gave the robbers’ details But they already left the town since, Mr. Akin was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment, & The police were still in search of the Robbers.

Twas 2007. Plot twist… They said dude was a rich kid. Mad ripple effect that incident had. All his room mates were heavily interrogated. People he had dealt with, probably sold items to or even lent stuff to were interrogated.

These were dogs that didn’t smile at strangers. At every stop, officers would approach confidently… Then see 10 full-grown German Shepherds staring back. “Just go.” Immediate clearance. No inspection. No questions. 😂 Fast forward to last year…

I still remember when we relocated from Abuja to Osogbo. Pops had just retired. House in Osogbo was 95% done. New chapter. New city. Full house. The real adventure? The journey. One Toyota Sienna. 16 passengers. 6 humans. 10 German Shepherds. 🐕 Yes. TEN…

On my way to work, I decided to enter BRT this morning. All of us queued properly, swiped our tickets, entered the bus and sat down waiting for the driver to come start the vehicle so we could move. Everybody was already calculating time in their head because Lagos and lateness are cousins. Next thing, the driver got into a scuffle with someone outside. From the argument, it turned into a full-blown fight. We were inside begging him, “Oga leave am, come and drive us na, we’re getting late for work.” Man no gree. He continued the fight like WWE audition. That was when something unbelievable happened. One guy from inside the bus just entered the driver’s area, started the BRT and began driving us out of the park. As in… confidently. When the real driver noticed that his source of livelihood was literally driving away without him, he abandoned the fight and started chasing the bus. You won’t believe some passengers were shouting, “Don’t stop ooo! Drive go!” 🤣🤣 Pure chaos. Eventually, they stopped for him. He entered, took over the steering, and didn’t say a single word. No apology. No explanation. He just drove as if nothing had happened. And that’s how we all got to our destinations that day, as if we didn’t almost commute with a substitute driver.
