.@thomas_coatue got a job in CAA’s mailroom by calling every day for six months: "There was one agent who had gone to Yale, Sally Wilcox. I called her every day for six months at the same time." "Finally one day I got a call back from her and she says, 'What's it going to take for you to stop calling me?'" "I said, 'I want an interview.'" "She said, 'If you agree to move to LA and you call me after, I'll get you an interview.'" "I moved the first week of June after I graduated. I called her and said, 'Remember you told me if I moved, you would give me the interview?' and she did. I interviewed and was my first day in the CAA mailroom was July 7th, 1997."

Retatrutide will be the biggest selling drug of all time!!! 1) lose weight 2) retain muscle 3) reduce fatty liver 4) lower blood pressure 5) control blood sugar 6) improve cholesterol levels 7) reduce joint pain I think lifetime revenues could exceed $500+ billion depending on what other triple agonists hit the market in the next 5+ years. We own $LLY at @FirstWaveFund because we expect Retatrutide to be available in the next 12-18 months. I think $LLY could rally into the launch of Retatrutide as we continue to see incredible phase3 trial data and the average person/investor starts to learn more about this drug. I also expect $LLY and the FDA to aggressively go after any/all copycats and grey market compounders. NFA. DYOR.
ThePeptideList@PeptideList

Everyone's talking about retatrutide for weight loss (28.7%). Almost nobody's talking about what it does to your liver. More than 80% reduction in liver fat. Over 90% normalization rates. In a body composition substudy from the Phase 3 program. 100 million Americans have fatty liver disease. Most don't know it. There's no FDA-approved treatment for it besides "lose weight and hope." Retatrutide's glucagon receptor activation appears to directly target hepatic fat metabolism not just as a side effect of weight loss, but as a primary mechanism. This isn't a weight loss drug that happens to help your liver. It might be a liver drug that happens to cause weight loss. Phase 3 weight loss data drops first half of 2026. Watch this space.

There’s been a lot of allegations against Delve. But we haven’t been able to share our side of the story until today due to ongoing cybersecurity and forensics investigations. Maintaining customer trust is central to everything we do. That said, we grew too fast and fell short of our own standard. To our customers, we deeply apologize for the inconveniences caused. We take these allegations seriously and have made changes: a new auditor network, free re-audits and pentests for all customers, enhanced transparency in audit communications, and more. However, we also want to set the record straight on the anonymous attacks. The evidence we have points to a targeted cyberattack from a malicious actor, not a “whistleblower.” We believe the attacker purchased Delve under false pretenses, exfiltrated internal company data, and used it to launch a coordinated smear campaign. The posts rely on a mix of fabricated claims, cherry-picked screenshots, and stolen data taken out of context. See the link in the comments for more details. Delve was built to modernize compliance. We are not going anywhere and are committed to building what's next.

@yungpussy 💯 It was like $16 at their old location. That was a good deal. Now it’s in a weird carpeted bar? Like just pay an extra $10 and get steak frites at a proper restaurant that’s actually good

It’s wild to me how everyone just… forgot. We’ve turned Tiger Woods into this untouchable legend again like none of it ever happened. This is a guy who: • Blew up his family and marriage with a long list of affairs • Was tied to multiple women, some reportedly escorts • Got arrested passed out behind the wheel on a cocktail of prescription drugs • Publicly admitted to “transgressions” that went way beyond a one-time mistake And now we just… move on? Put him back on a pedestal? Look I get it. He’s one of the greatest golfers ever. No debate. But let’s stop pretending greatness in a sport = someone worth idolizing. Especially for kids. This is the second time he could’ve killed somebody and didn’t learn from his first mistake (publicly) and those two are the only two we know about.

Been seeing a lot of loafer discourse on this app and while I LOVE a man in a slutty little loafer… was thinking about it and realized most men in my life (dad, brother, guys I know) wouldn’t wear a loafer. Not their speed. They’re just trying to graduate from wearing running shoes to dinner to white sneakers. WHICH I get. So if loafers aren’t your thing (although i encourage you to experiment) here are some staple sneaker suggestions that I like: - Common Projects Achilles Low - Veja Campo - Adidas Samba OG - New Balance 990 - Converse Chuck Taylor Low - Nike Killshot 2 - Vans Authentic

That road is Route 1 in Iceland. A week driving it costs roughly $2,500 per person. Flights from the US run $500-600 round trip. Gas is $8-9 per gallon. A glacier hike is $125. A night in a decent hotel near Vatnajökull is $160-200. Total tab for two people to spend a week staring at that glacier instead of a monitor: somewhere around $7,000. The median American household earns that in about 18 working days. Sitting in a room. Staring at a screen. The people who actually drive that road on a random Tuesday in March fall into two categories: retirees who stared at screens for 40 years and saved enough to stop, or remote workers who figured out how to stare at a screen from Reykjavik instead of a cubicle in Ohio. Both paths run through the screen. The photo is real. The freedom it represents costs $7,000 and 10 days of PTO. The device you’re reading this complaint on is the same device that books the flight.

the world looks like this and we’re expected to sit in a room for 8 hours a day staring at a screen
