@one_i_extra Definitely had FOMO yesterday, despite the result it looked great. Agree re: the gap between us and the French, think there’s a definite discussion around strength in depth in some key positions for us too.

Thoughts on an away trip to Bordeaux: We are miles away from the French clubs. LBB should be banned for being too good. UBB fans make a right racket. There is no atmosphere like a French away trip. Bordeaux is a great city.

@FromLe2 I think it might just have been prudent for him to apologise. I’m with him 100%, completely the right sentiment, loved it, cracking iconic moment. But this apology might just save him a charge and I don’t want him banned in the run in.

Halfway point of the season as it’s the midpoint in all 3 competitions & so far we’re tracking very nicely. Squad depth & development is coming on nicely, style of play is improving & we look a better side than September - a sign of good coaching. Plus we have more to come 🙌

@FromLe2 Seems a sensible approach. Even with yesterday’s win Top 4 going to be tricky and those 2 comps would be great. Really impressed with how we’re tracking at halfway stage with some bigger names not playing too much so far

Genuinely think we should be looking to target the Prem Cup & Challenge Cup (if that’s where we end up). Silverware is not to be sniffed at, and it keeps up the culture of competing for trophies in the latter stages of the- massive for us with such a young squad.

@FromLe2 Think Blamire is also starting to come good too. Arrows improving and much more visible around the park.

We also need to talk Billy Searle. Pound for pound the best bit of recruitment done in the league this season. Not only a great performance but rattled Elliott Daly in the process too. Quality work

A really good first half, but if we’re honest a disappointing 2nd half. Bit sloppy & poor discipline let us down. That said, a 5 point win against Sarries is never to be sniffed at & knowing we have more improvement in us is exciting. Radwan is proving to be the best signing!

@georgeprokopa I’ve been very impressed pal, really thought we’d miss Pollard but he’s controlled and run the backline superbly. Has to be in with a shout for next England A squad.

Billy Searle has been such a good signing, absolutely love the bloke.

@FromLe2 Little bit light in the midfield if we get any more injuries but that back row looks more balanced and having the Dr back is a huge boost!

Like this a lot. Loads of balance across the board, and even better to have Emeka back. I possibly would’ve gone 6:2 but I love this. Saracens are equally strong so should be one hell of a game this weekend!

Would be interesting to see how much Gloucester offered Morgan given Sarries were also in. Has to have been a mega offer. I would love to see how much Quins offered Furbank, I bet that is for silly money too. I maintain that we are in a wage bubble looking at recent transfers.
