Gaster is going to show up in #DELTARUNE Chapter 6. While I can't say for sure how extensive his role will be and how Toby will handle him, if he shows up as a character in-universe his first appearence is going to be in Ch6. [1]

im not gonna lie yall underestimate gaster a lil too much if deltarune is based primarily on TWO extremes and how they interact, those being light and dark and if gaster is in between EVERYTHING he's a being between light and dark just think for a bit what that implies

La Meloni lo ha trasformato in un becero chiacchiericcio permanente dove tutti sono nemici, tutti sono traditori, tutti sono da odiare. La grammatica però è sempre la stessa. L’ha scritta Bossi. Bossi, quello che urlava “Roma ladrona” e poi convertiva i rimborsi elettorali in diamanti. Quello che parlava dei meridionali come razza inferiore e poi comprava le lauree in Albania per i figli. Quello i cui figli andavano a cena al ristorante e mettevano il conto in nota spese al partito. Il moralizzatore col portafoglio pieno di soldi degli altri. Quello che voleva dividere l’Italia in due. Quello che col tricolore si voleva pulire il culo. Quello che ha insegnato a una generazione di politici che non servono idee, basta un capro espiatorio. È morto un uomo. Umanamente ci dispiace. Politicamente è stato colui che ha cominciato a scavare il pozzo in cui stiamo affondando.

@FoursideKM It's kind of implied that Alphys got her job recently and by extension that Gerson's death is recent. Kris & Co. never had him as teacher but the older sibling generation might have. Atleast that's what I got. I think it makes for a cool parallel between Susie and Dess.

I probably come across as some kind of dessknight hater (I'm not, I'm like 80% sure it's true) but why do people act like gerson and dess have this strong bond that no other character could have? When does the game ever imply that? Why couldn't gerson have been carol's teacher?

"Delta" (Δ) is used to represent "change" of a variable in mathematics. "Rune",within fantastic fiction, is usually used to refer to any sort of "Magical Writing", such as a Prophecy. Taken as a whole "Deltarune" can be translated as "The Change of The Prophecy"
