Why is the SA electoral commission still calling Ngadjuri for the Libs, updated today, while most news organisations are calling the seat for One Nation? result.ecsa.sa.gov.au #auspol #sapol

@BPork254 in that same period outright home ownership rose from 33% to 41%, so investors were selling and more australians were getting homes. I think that was better for australian society

@carmel_hilder @AngusTaylorMP So by saying “look, the other side did something bad”, in this case Vic state labor for some reason, are you acknowledging Angus Taylor’s actions? Don’t you think the “he’s doing it too, miss” is a schoolchild’s defence of bad actions rather than a moral, adult one, Carmel?

It’s an immense honour to be elected as leader of the Liberal Party. I am looking forward to working with my deputy, Jane Hume to serve the Australian people. #auspol

@DavidShoebridge he was director of a company based in the cayman island that did a dodgy deal with the government he was a member of to screw taxpayers for 50m profit. He's about as interested in the needs of ordinary Australians as Coles, the one they gave jobkeeper when making Covid billions

@RositaDaz48 There was 66,650 increase in the number of businesses opening from the previous year, in the same year that the 41000 closed. If you were unbiased you would have mentioned this abs.gov.au/statistics/eco…

Labor's disastrous economic management is crushing businesses. 41,749 businesses have gone bust since PM Albanese and Labor came to power. And things aren’t improving. The newest data out has sadly shown that 14,722 businesses entered insolvency in the 2025 financial year which is a very sad record to break. This record is more than just a number, it's shattered dreams, money and local jobs lost. But Labor continues to use businesses like an ATM with their failed policy settings and failure to manage the economy which is crushing small businesses. The Liberals and industry leaders are calling for urgent policy change and support to save the surviving yet struggling small businesses right across the country. @JasonWood_MP

@TimWilsonMP I am in your electorate. You made a number of Trumpian like promises on your advertising and so far I have yet to see a single policy or evidence in your voting record that would achieve any of those promises, and plenty that that support the opposite effect. An empty suit

Morning Australia! Having read a lot of speculation, I have advised colleagues that I have no interest in the Deputy Leadership. I love Australia, and I want a nation built on respect, where hard work pays off and Australians have more control over their lives.

@MichaelWestBiz unprotected kidney punches are highly dangerous. This is very poor policing. I hope there are consequences regardless of politics. I know the police had a lawful order, but they are bound by their powers of arrest and are trained how to detain people. This is a clear breach

@kelliekelly23 I'm sure fascists like this kind of stuff. Any state violence makes them feel powerful by association, it's a power they wish they had in their own lives. Usually because they were bullied at school

There are two people who really want Sussan Ley to remain leader of the Liberal Party: Anthony Albanese and Pauline Hanson. For them, Sussan is a gift that keep on giving.

I don't have as strong feelings on the matter as many here. But I do think that the idea promulgated that if only the Aus Gov had been initially more repressive with protesters there would be less anti-israeli (or antisemitic) feeling is being demonstrated to be false #auspol

@sussanley You're going to fix the budget by getting less revenue (tax)? You're going to make energy affordable and reduce CO2 with your magic fairy dust? I'm going to miss your solution-free tweets when you get rolled next week. At least you can communicate, unlike Angus...

The Albanese Labor Government has failed Australians on the economy, failed on the cost of living and failed to back the businesses that create jobs and opportunity. When families see their mortgage repayments climb, their grocery bills rise and their power costs surge, they are living with the consequences of a Prime Minister who has lost control of the economy. We are focused on what matters. Easing the squeeze on households, fixing the budget and growing a stronger economy that rewards effort and supports enterprise. That is how we take pressure off families and businesses and get Australia moving again. (1/3)

@FOXFOOTY The pies are a big club, they'll be a few of their younger blokes that make a step up as opportunities open with injuries to their older players. But it's comparatively thin compared to the how the other clubs have drafted, in terms of obvious talent. They'll need a lot of luck

Energy is the backbone of the economy, and Labor is breaking both. This government has no real plan or credible solutions in place. Instead, they keep making promises of cheaper energy bills, promises that have proven false. Australians are suffering as a result of this green energy scam.

Political parties are panicking about the new support for One Nation. Our mission is simple: We want to bring your voice directly to the floor of parliament and put Australians first. Nationals, Liberals, Labor and Greens have all failed to do this and are now paying the price. Only One Nation can be trusted to tell you where we stand and stick to it.
