Hi twitterverse. Friday was my last day at the Omaha World-Herald. I’m sticking around town, but I’m leaving the world of journalism for now. I grew up reading the paper with my parents, and I delivered it to front porches in my neighborhood in middle school. (1/3)

Back then, I loved learning about everything happening in my city, or stumbling onto a really great story. As an intern in 2016, and again when I rejoined the paper in 2019, I was starstruck by the kind, talented, caring people who continue to put out vital local journalism (2/3)
