The blocking of anyone referring to ‘genocide’ is almost universal in the mainstream British media. As a genocide scholar, I’ve been interviewed/quoted about Gaza by media from all over the world, including the US, but never by any major British outlet.

Yesterday it was confirmed an Israeli F-35 fighter jet – made in part in Britain – was instrumental in a recent attack on a "safe zone" in Gaza, killing 90 people. Hours later the UK government refused to suspend licences pertaining to F-35s. ALL arms sales to Israel must end.

Western media marks an appalling threshold of Israel killing 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza without mentioning *Israel* Thousands more are still missing or under rubble making the actual death toll much higher. This is how you whitewash genocide.

#Gaza Heavy shooting from the Israeli Forces at a UN convoy heading to Gaza city. While there are no casualties, our teams had to duck and take cover. This took place yesterday. The teams were traveling in clearly marked UN armoured cars & wearing UN vests. One vehicle received at least five bullets while waiting just ahead of the Israeli Forces’ checkpoint south of Wadi Gaza. The car was severely damaged, it left the convoy. The teams re-assembled & finally reached Gaza City. Like all other similar UN movements, this movement was coordinated and approved by the Israeli Authorities. Humanitarian aid workers are #NOTaTarget Those responsible must be held accountable.

Israeli “evacuation orders” continue to be instruments of terror & displacement. Palestinians in Gaza’s old city & at Ahli hospital were ordered to evacuate west, only to be attacked there & receive another evacuation order under 24hr later, to a ‘safe area’ that doesn’t exist.
