Congress party unequivocally supports Women’s Reservation. Parliament unanimously passed the bill in 2023, it is already part of our Constitution. What the government is proposing now has nothing to do with women’s reservation. This amendment is an attempted power grab using delimitation and gerrymandering. We will not allow ‘Hissa Chori’ from OBC, Dalit and Adivasi communities by ignoring the caste census data. We will also not allow Southern, North Eastern, North Western and smaller states to be treated unfairly.

कल नोएडा की सड़कों पर जो हुआ, वो इस देश के श्रमिकों की आख़िरी चीख़ थी - जिसकी हर आवाज़ को अनसुना किया गया, जो मांगते-मांगते थक गया। नोएडा में काम करने वाले एक मज़दूर की ₹12,000 महीने की तनख्वाह,₹4,000-7,000 किराया। जब तक ₹300 की सालाना बढ़ोतरी मिलती है, मकान मालिक ₹500 सालाना किराया बढ़ा देता है। तनख्वाह बढ़ने तक ये बेलगाम महंगाई ज़िंदगी का गला घोंट देती है, कर्ज़ की गहराई में डुबा देती है - यही है “विकसित भारत” का सच। एक महिला मज़दूर ने कहा - “गैस के दाम बढ़ते हैं, पर हमारी तनख्वाह नहीं।” इन लोगों ने शायद इस गैस संकट के दौरान अपने घर का चूल्हा जलाने के लिए ₹5000 का भी सिलेंडर खरीदा होगा। यह सिर्फ़ नोएडा की बात नहीं है। और यह सिर्फ़ भारत की भी बात नहीं है। दुनियाभर में ईंधन की कीमतें आसमान छू रही हैं - पश्चिम एशिया में युद्ध की वजह से सप्लाई चेन टूट गई है। मगर, अमेरिका के टैरिफ़ वॉर, वैश्विक महंगाई, टूटती सप्लाई चेन - इसका बोझ Modi जी के “मित्र” उद्योगपतियों पर नहीं पड़ा। इसकी सबसे बड़ी मार पड़ी है उस मज़दूर पर जो दिहाड़ी कमाता है, तभी रोज़ खाता है। वो मज़दूर, जो किसी युद्ध का हिस्सा नहीं, जिसने कोई नीति नहीं बनाई - जिसने बस काम किया। चुपचाप। बिना शिकायत। और उसके बदले अपना हक मांगने पर उन्हें मिलता क्या है? दबाव और अत्याचार। एक और ज़रूरी मुद्दा - मोदी सरकार ने 4 लेबर कोड जल्दबाज़ी में बिना संवाद नवंबर, 2025 से लागू कर, काम का समय 12 घंटे तक बढ़ा दिया। जो मज़दूर हर रोज़ 12-12 घंटे खड़े होकर काम करता है फिर भी बच्चों की स्कूल फ़ीस क़र्ज़ लेकर भरता है - क्या उसकी मांग ग़ैरवाजिब है? और जो उसका हक़ हर रोज़ मार रहा है - वो “विकास” कर रहा है? नोएडा का मज़दूर ₹20,000 माँग रहा है। यह कोई लालच नहीं - यह उसका अधिकार, उसकी जिंदगी का एकमात्र आधार है। मैं हर उस मज़दूर के साथ हूं - जो इस देश की रीढ़ है और जिसे इस सरकार ने बोझ समझ लिया है।

Ambani Law School Under Scrutiny for Alleged LL.M. Violations. A faculty member also pressured to exit. A developing controversy surrounding the School of Law at Dhirubhai Ambani University promoted by the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, which has been subject to scrutiny and investigations by various national agencies in relation to significant financial irregularities has brought renewed attention to regulatory compliance in legal education, with allegations and proofs that the institution is conducting it's LL.M. programmes in a manner inconsistent with directives issued by the Bar Council of India. At the centre of the issue is a Compliance Directive dated June 25, 2025, issued by the Bar Council of India (BCI), which categorically prohibited the offering of LL.M. programmes through online, distance, blended, or hybrid modes, mandating full compliance across all legal education providers in the country. But according to multiple stakeholder representations, students enrolled in the January 2026 LL.M. intake at the university were admitted on the basis that the programme would be conducted in a full-time, in-person format. However, concerns have since emerged that several components of the programme—including foundational, mandatory courses and scheduled elective sessions—were conducted online. Students have reportedly raised these concerns internally, questioning whether such delivery formats are consistent with BCI regulations. The issue gained further traction following the reported exit of @ImManujBhardwaj a faculty member who is understood to have raised concerns internally regarding the mode of delivery and regulatory compliance. Dr. Bhardwaj objected to the online conduct of certain classes and escalated the matter within the institution. Subsequently, he resigned from his position in early April 2026. While the circumstances surrounding his departure remain contested, the sequence of events has drawn attention from professional bodies and stakeholders. The @inalp_india has formally taken cognisance of the matter. In a public statement, the body confirmed that it had received multiple representations from students, parents, and other stakeholders, along with supporting documentation. Following its review, INALP announced on its official media channels on April 10th the immediate cessation of all associations with the university’s School of Law and stated that it has filed a formal representation before the Bar Council of India, placing relevant materials on record for consideration. INALP has also indicated that it is seeking clarity on the regulatory position of the programme and has reserved its legal rights in the matter. Despite the ongoing controversy, the institution has continued to promote and advertise a second cohort of LL.M. programmes for the 2026 intake across multiple specialisations, including emerging areas such as technology law, aviation, ESG, and dispute resolution. Observers note that there has been no public disclosure by the institution regarding the regulatory concerns raised, which may be material for prospective students evaluating enrolment decisions. Broader Implications for Legal Education The developments have sparked wider debate within the legal and academic community regarding compliance, transparency, and accountability in legal education—particularly in the context of evolving programme formats and increasing commercialisation.
