World, Sam Altman's digital identity project, just unveiled World ID 4.0, what the company calls "full-stack proof of human" infrastructure. The partner list: Tinder, Zoom, DocuSign, Shopify, Okta, AWS, and Vercel. Altman opened by saying we're heading to a world where AI generates more content than humans. Pantera Capital says we've already crossed that threshold. World's answer is an iris-scanning device called the Orb that creates a unique cryptographic ID proving you're a real person. 18 million people across 160 countries have already verified. Tinder is rolling out "verified human" badges in the U.S. after a Japan pilot. Zoom built a feature called "Deep Face" that verifies the person on a video call isn't a deepfake. DocuSign is adding proof-of-human checks to digital signatures. Shopify is enabling verified-human commerce. The most significant announcement is AgentKit, infrastructure that lets AI agents carry cryptographic proof they're acting on behalf of a verified human. Okta built an agent delegation system on top of it. The problem World is solving is real. The question is whether a centralized iris-scanning identity layer controlled by the same person whose company helped create the problem is the right answer. Altman is the CEO of OpenAI. He built the flood. Now he's selling the ark.

@evanwch My solution: Robotics companies pay/employ their users to give feedback on what the robot(s) are able to do to make their lives better. The Robotics company, not the government, pays people the UBI, and the robotics get better over time. Government-funded UBI cannot work.

I’m not a fan of UBI. I think people need jobs and purpose in order to be happy. But Elon likely knows what’s coming. Most of us have no idea. If AI is what people say, it will change everything In a post-labor world there needs to be a solution, and no alternative is literal cruelty. @PostDisclosure Per Elon's proposal, UBI would be funded by government tax dollars. The problem is that UBI would also eliminate tax payers, meaning that nobody would be funding the system that everyone is receiving money from. Fed Reserve printing infinite money will make it worthless.

Being against UBI is totally fine. But so many of the arguments people make against it insult my intelligence. For example, the idea that if people aren't forced to work, they will lose all meaning. Many people dislike their jobs so much that they would trade working just to survive for the possibilities downtime opens up. Since when do we find meaning in doing something we despise? Has work for survival become our new idol? What about spiritual work, reading and studying, teaching, family time, growing food, working out, enjoying hobbies, and so forth? I'd flip this whole conversation—the fact that so many people think work is the primary source of meaning is a bigger problem than people having the option not to work. And UBI wouldn’t make working impossible; it just means people could be much more selective about what kind of work they do. That’s freedom and agency at its best.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) voted with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to strip President Trump of his war powers today. The resolution was narrowly rejected by the House, 214-213. Massie was confronted about being a traitor and essentially said he’s fine with Iran having nukes because he has TDS. Siding with Democrats in Congress on anything is siding with the enemy. Many of them are the same traitors to America who welcomed an invasion of millions of illegals under Joe Biden. To ever vote with them is to say you hate America. Shame on Massie. Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.
