To put 8 million in context: The Women’s March in 2017 — the previous record — drew an estimated 3-5 million. Today more than doubled it. 8 million Americans didn’t just protest today. They sent a message that cannot be ignored, cannot be dismissed, and cannot be spun. The founders settled the kings question in 1776. 8 million Americans settled it again today.

🚨 let me explain what just happened.. TSA workers .. the people who screen your luggage at airports.. stopped getting paid because Congress couldn't pass funding.. today Trump signed an executive order to fix it.. problem solved.. hero moment.. except.. Congress didn't go rogue.. his party controls it.. the funding stalled because of chaos in his own house.. TSA workers went without pay because of a problem he had the power to prevent.. and he had the power to sign this executive order the entire time.. in 2019, Trump's government shutdown lasted 35 days.. TSA workers called in sick in record numbers.. airports descended into a state of utter confusion.. security lines collapsed.. he eventually ended it the same way.. an executive order.. same playbook.. different year.. create the emergency.. let people suffer through it.. sign the paper.. take the credit.. Somewhere a TSA agent is paying their overdue rent with a paycheck that should have never stopped.

Didn't America and Israel pull the Pearl harbor first? Killed civilian nuclear scientists in their homes with their families. Bombed non-military nuclear facilities. Assassinated the equivalent of their pope. (This to a country known for its predisposition for resorting to religious extremism). Also bombed that leader's family including a 1-year-old child. Bombed an elementary school, killing over 160 elementary school girls between the ages of 7 and 12. Iran is large, heavily mountainous, a natural fortress. It's a country that's been around forever and has a population of something like 92 million people. And, they hate us. Even if they are fucked. They would gladly accept that outcome if they can take us out with them. To the Shia Muslim, martyrdom -dying for your faith is a privilege, an honor. America will run out of money before they are able to make any sort of meaningful impact in Iran. We should never have gone there. Why send Americans to fight and die in the Middle East for Israel? Let's not.
