Living in Louisiana means that starting in March our temperatures can easily be hanging in the 80 degree plus range daily. Please don’t leave your kids in a car for even a moment. The danger of someone snatching the kids and the HEAT are real! What appears to be 3 children left in an unattended vehicle for at least an hour turns out to be even worse than expected. Would you have called the police and waited or would you have gotten the kids out of the car one way or another?

A simple oil filter return at an auto parts store spirals into tragedy in minutes. This woman came to pick her daughter up from KinderCare in Plantation, FL, and was a little late. The daycare is now closed, but there’s one issue: her 2-year-old daughter is inside, alone, with the lights off and crying. The mother calls 911, and authorities have to break in to get her out. The business blamed it on short staffing, but who just leaves a 2-year-old behind? Not a good look for KinderCare.
