Who are the best angels? The ones multiple founders would call their favorite for actually helping. I’m building a vetted list of Forward Deployed Angels. 👇 Tag the angels who have made the difference, i'd love to meet them and give em a hat

Most vibe coding tools are fun toys, but fail to scale your products with secure & reliable infrastructure. Today this changes. Together with @netlify & @supabase, we’re launching the first unified platform for building & scaling to millions of users:

My wife has spent >1 hr with Chase sending ME a wire. They keep saying it seems like fraud and have asked her (3x) how long she has known me, if she has ever met me in person, if we communicate on telegram, etc. I urge everyone to sign up for Mercury Personal to avoid this pain

The IRS filing season report is out and @ColumnTax is the fastest-growing U.S. tax filing startup for the second year in a row 📈 Getting here has been the result of an incredible team that sweats the details every day. Our focus is always on highest-quality tax product for our partners, and it’s so rewarding to look up and see how it all adds up in moments like this. No tax startup has grown this quickly in nearly three decades. Building our product from the ground up — and now seeing the acceleration with Iris, our tax development agent — has never made us more excited about what’s ahead.

“Your roadmap is a compass — not a contract.” 🧭 A mindset shift every founder should hear, from Mercury’s own @rohinip. In this clip from @startupgrind, she and Akshaya Murali — product advisor and former product leader at Shopify and Expedia — break down what early-stage roadmapping should actually look like. ⤵️

Thrilled to be speaking at @mercury Spheres on one of my favorite topics: cracking the code of product-market fit. Drawing from my experiences with different stages of companies, I’ll share tactical insights that transform good ideas into great products that address a market need. I’m equally excited to learn from and connect with other incredible builders—and to hear from inspiring voices like @dhmeyer , @gaganbiyani , and @alicia_aes ! Let’s build. 🚀 📍May 20, SF 🎟️ Use code ORBIT100 for $100 off your ticket: mercury.com/spheres

I had the honor of joining @immad and @rajatsuri on the Founders in Arms podcast to unpack Mercury’s $300M Series C. But this wasn’t a typical fundraising story. What struck me most wasn’t the size of the round or the valuation. It was the mindset behind it. Most founders raise money because they need to. Immad raised because the business deserved to. Mercury didn’t need the capital. They’re profitable. They already had a strong balance sheet. So why raise? To reset the narrative. To help recruits see the actual value of equity, not the outdated 2021 cap table. To give early employees real liquidity through a clean tender offer. To unlock the next level of talent with a price that reflected the real business. And here’s the kicker: Immad didn’t even know they were doing the $50K coffee + tea promo to celebrate until he saw it on Twitter. That’s a sign of a well-run company. The culture shows up in the product. The product shows up in the growth rate. And the growth rate shows up in investor conviction. We also talked about: Why 10%+ monthly growth for 24 months is near-impossible but necessary if you want to reach true scale. How Mercury hid a ton of product complexity behind a clean UI, especially for power users. Why design, not specs, should do the heavy lifting in product. What it means to be a CEO who doesn’t just manage, but stays in their zone of genius. And why every founder should be sending investor updates before they even raise. This episode is a masterclass in what healthy scale actually looks like. If you’re building, raising, or thinking about your next fundraise, give it a listen.
