Fathers like Alshadie inspire and move us to keep advocating for change.💙 Alshadie’s son Ibrahim received nutrition support from Project HOPE’s Tayara clinic in Gaza to support his severe malnutrition. For many families, critical food items are no longer available in the markets, and when they are, the prices are no longer affordable. On #FathersDay and every day, we are honored to witness and celebrate fathers like Aldashie who advocate for their families to create a better future for their children.

Often the most impactful and sustainable health intervention we can make is the one that strengthens local health systems. Malawi's new Child Protection Mgmt System is one example that is already making a difference for vulnerable children country wide.

Inside a high school in Bandung #Indonesia, @projecthopeorg's HERWay program is educating teenagers on topics like mental health, puberty, menstrual health, sexual education, & life skills, ultimately helping students plan for a healthier future. I love to see their smiles.

Encouraging to see that individuals who develop #Ebola may have access to #MBP134. But an important question remains: will people affected by Ebola in Africa have the same access? MBP134 is a cocktail of two human monoclonal antibodies originally isolated from the blood of an Ebola survivor from the 2013–2016 West Africa. The communities that have borne the greatest burden of Ebola outbreaks have also contributed to the scientific advances that made therapies like MBP134 possible. Equity in access must be part of the conversation.
