Thanks to @kyloma for making registration a little less confusing. Eventbrite seems to have changed the UX around discount codes in non-obvious ways, causing some folks to pay full price! 😱

Unlike previous years, there will be a modest registration fee (~$60) so that we can operate without any corporate sponsorship. Individual sponsorships, at registration time, will be very welcome to pay for scholarships for campers would otherwise would not be able to join us.

Registration will open sometime next week. If you’re a past year camper, hop on the Slack and fill out the (pinned) Google Form to register your interest. If you’ve never been before, find one our amazing past year campers and ask them for an invitation code.

No DCamp in 2017. See you in 2018. That said, some folks are hoping to put on something DCamp-like on/around 10/25.

@micahbales We haven’t committed (publicly) to a DCamp this year. Also the NPS hasn’t been particularly communicative this year so far.

@FishofLaurel We’re very glad to hear that our excess supplies went to good use!

Shout out 2 @ruby_dcamp 4 the food donation. Clients loved “Breakfast for dinner” more meals to come & many families in need were helped.

@remco_verhoef @slackarchive This is unfortunate as we’re not-for-profit but don’t have the 501(c)3 status Slack wants to see.

@slackarchive Is archive access public or can it be limited solely to slack members? For some community slacks, privacy is crucial.
