@rwyrachel While I agree they shouldn’t take their bags I don’t know if I’ve ever heard during a safety video/demo before a flight them telling people not to take bags in an emergency. At least not often. So it’s hard for me to expect people who rarely fly to know as much.

If you are selfish and incompetent enough to take your bag with you during an evacuation regardless of the severity, then you should automatically get attempted manslaughter charges and...

@lilesdad 5 of their emergency exits were unusable, so with only 3 and that many people, that's absolutely impressive.

I truly wish airlines would start banning people like this. JAL516 evacuated using only 3 usable exits in 18 minutes, and all 367 passengers and 12 crew members survived because they didn't take their f*cking bags.

and disqualify from and potential compensation. If anyone perishes and you've taken your bags, then you should get manslaughter charges. There is absolutely nothing in your bags that is more important than someone's life.
