When we look back on why Trump won this election, it won't be because he was a better choice. Kamala was more than qualified. She was one of the most qualified persons to run for office in a very long time. She offered Americans $25,000 towards their first home. She offered $50,000 to small businesses. She offered intelligence and critical thinking. Yet, Amerca decided to go with dimwitted criminal with 34 felony counts, a convicted sexual abuser, a fail businessman, accused of being a pedophile who tried to overthrow the government. As we look at the absolute chaos trump has caused in one year, the is was it worth it? Who's benefiting from Trump being the president? Why didn't Kamala win?

@RossKneeDeep She was the democrats nominee for president when she made that statement. Biden was no longer running so yes she could have said what the electorate wanted to and needed to hear. You are the one that doesn't understand politics.

No one should die because they couldn’t access safe reproductive healthcare. No one should be forced to carry a pregnancy they don’t want or can’t care for. No one should face criminal charges for exercising bodily autonomy. Abortion is healthcare.

@PatrickWCutler He's a populist, I don't think anyone ever thought he was conservative. He was liberal until the liberal party moved so far left everyone to the right became conservative. Trump didn't try to keep up where as guys like Bill Mahr and Joe Rogan did until they couldnt anymore.

Donald Trump was a registered Democrat for 8 straight years. Gave $100,000 to Hilary Clinton. Gave $6,000 to Kamala Harris. And gave $1,000 to Joe Biden. And you guys think he’s a hardcore Republican? 😭😭😭😂😂😂

@swd2 @JonSmithBruh The US post Covid recovery had a lot more to do with how good the pre covid economy was than to any policies that Biden implemented. The driving factors for a faster recovery than other nations were the pre pandemic economy, the vaccine, and the restrictions being lifted sooner.

Mifepristone is a safe and effective form of abortion medication. This ruling will put women and the providers they rely on at risk.  New York will continue to hold the line and protect reproductive freedom from these attacks.
Center for Reproductive Rights@ReproRights

🚨 MAJOR ABORTION ACCESS UPDATE: A federal court has temporarily reinstated an outdated, medically unnecessary requirement that will prevent patients NATIONWIDE from filling mifepristone prescriptions by mail or at a local pharmacy. Our full statement: reprorights.org/news/5th-circu…

BREAKING: A conservative court packed with Trump-appointed judges just ruled to ROLL BACK access to the abortion pill. This is a page straight out of extremist Republicans’ anti-abortion playbook. Let me be clear: the abortion pill is safe and effective. We must fight back.

@alluringmedia Clinton's policies killed the economy during bush's term. Obama recovery was good but slow and trump built on his economy taking it to levels the dems said were impossible. Covid destroyed the economy. Biden didn't fix the economy, the country opened back up.

Bush destroyed Clinton's economy. Obama fixed Bush's mess. Trump destroyed Obama's economy. Biden fixed Trump’s mess and now Trump has destroyed what Biden fixed. The biggest lie that Republicans have gotten away with is that they are better for the economy.

White men were able to vote since the 1800s. Women weren’t able to until 1920 and black Americans (even with the 15th amendment) weren’t actually able to vote until 1965. This isn’t just about race but including voter rights. White men will never understand because they’ve always been able to vote.

i don’t understand why anybody would choose the red button. asking genuinely, if you chose it - why? if 50%+ choose blue, everyone lives. if less than 50% choose red, only those who chose red live. why are you willing to sacrifice half of those people?

Gas was $3.13 per gallon when Joe Biden left office. Gas is $4.30 per gallon today. While you are paying more for gas because of Trump’s stupid war, Trump and his family have made $6 billion since taking office. TRUMP SCAMMED YOU. WAKE UP

@amyactonoh Looking forward to seeing your proposal to cut the ohio portion of the gasoline tax which currently sits at 38.5 cents per gallon. Are there any other taxes you are proposing to cut to make things more affordable?

Here’s what we see while on the road today. Ohioans all across the state right now are having to decide whether they can afford to fill up their tank, get groceries, and pay their rent. These gas prices are piling onto an already unaffordable cost of living. People need relief.

I wrote a post about working 60 hours in one week. The comments were something. Let me address a few things. "Other jobs work long hours too." Yes. I know. I never said otherwise. My point was simple: I earned my time off. That's it. If your job also overworks you without overtime pay, I'm genuinely sorry. That's also wrong. But it doesn't make what I described less true. "You're salaried. No overtime exists." True. Also: a 185-day contract paid over 24 checks isn't a summer salary. It's a school-year salary paid slowly. I'm not being compensated for July. I'm being paid in July for work I did in October. "You chose to work those extra hours." Sure. And if I hadn't, no lessons would be planned, nothing would be graded, and 30 kids would walk into an unprepared classroom on Monday morning. The work doesn't disappear because the clock does. "You hate your job." I don't. I love my students. That has nothing to do with whether the math adds up. The original post wasn't a complaint. It was arithmetic. If the arithmetic bothers you, I'd suggest the problem isn't the math.
Jen@jenteach13

Everyone loves to remind teachers about summer. Fine. Let's do the math. This week I worked nearly 60 hours. 6:30 arrival. Unpaid lunch with kids in my room. Covered PE — I teach Spanish. Graded vocab tests Friday night. Graded a children's book project on Saturday. Turned one into a movie and posted it for the class. Five hours of lesson planning today. The standard work week is 40 hours. The extra 20? Unpaid. Some weeks, the grading is lighter. Some weeks it's worse. This is not the worst week I've had. But yes. I get summers off.
