Just took a peak, and my same exact health insurance plan is going up 31% — from $667.24/mth to $877.68/mth. This is absolutely insane, and it threatens to push folks like me who you want on the marketplace off of it, increasing costs on everyone.

@SawyerBlatz have you been checked for immune deficiency, to see if you qualify for ivig/scig? i know someone with similar symptoms for whom it seems to have made a huge difference after about six months of treatment.

My modest starter home that I bought based on cheap insurance/taxes and our ability to afford it if my husband or I lost our jobs, now costs 10k to insure and 7k in taxes. Both more than double what it costs 2.5 years ago. Hurray to the American Dream!

We recently got the home-insurancerenewal for this year. It went up by another $2,000 this year. ***Our home insurance premium is now $11,679.*** To be clear, we have never made a claim, the home is old but in great condition, and we do not have a pool. $11,679. DeSantis could've helped... but didn't. FL is a hellhole.

8 years ago, my property taxes were $3500. They are over $10k now. This, coupled with the ⬆️ in home insurance because “the cost of building supplies” & the ⬆️ in car insurance because i live in a “dangerous neighborhood." At some point, it becomes unaffordable. It’s too much.
