@Blue_Footy You are actually their puppet but at least you don't hide it. Can't even question why all of a sudden they want to listen to the fan 2 days before a protest

“Underwhelming success” 😂 The club had an opportunity to back Maresca properly in the summer and give him the tools needed. They didn’t. They failed him and they failed the supporters. January comes around. Another chance to correct obvious issues bring in a CB show some level of competence and accountability. They didn’t! Instead they wasted time chasing another “project” signing who saw through it all and chose a club where he will actually be competing at the highest level. Maresca, like the ones before him, was never at the level required to manage Chelsea Football Club. And neither is Liam Rosenior. He hasn’t been given the job on merit. He’s been given it because of his relationships with Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley. Not because he’s delivered anything of note as a manager. It’s the same lazy recruitment approach we keep seeing across the club. You can keep writing your long threads defending the ownership all you want. But match going fans, the ones who’ve lived and breathed this club for years/generations can see exactly what’s going on. This ownership structure is rotten. They haven’t just stripped away the identity and connection fans had with the club, they are actively putting its future at risk. Next time you put together one of your threads, spend less time spinning narratives and more time actually looking at the financial situation they’ve created. Because it’s not sustainable. This model does not work. And now as expected the players are starting to speak. Calling out the environment, the culture, the lack of ambition. Players are waking up. Fans are already there. Next up investor pressure! Very soon this flawed model will have nowhere left to hide.
