@AndyGoode10 Itoje is always very ungracious, he rarely congratulates the other team. A great player but a poor captain.

@NottNicolas @AndyGoode10 Pollock is a good player, but once the ref's cop on to him he'll be a penalty machine. He constantly gets tackeled and gets up without releasing the ball. He's constantly over the ruck trying to slow the ball.

Andy Farrell got his troops firing today, the mark of the head coach, Ireland were class from the first minute. England mirrored Steve Borthwick, uninspiring and dull. Ford’s time is up too in an England shirt

@MrBlack_Rugby @kilianjcarroll So if the ball is passed with the tips of the ball facing north-south, what is this. The position of the tip of the ball is irrelevant

@kilianjcarroll My argument against that Kilian is the top tip of the ball is backwards. Which means the ball is being held and thrown that way. Regardless of the forward momentum

People really need to learn the physics of a pass. It’s an illusion because of the camera angle. If it left the hands forward it would’ve never been caught He’s moving to fast 🤦
Dunleavb@Dunleavb

@Rugby_Scoop Obvious engagement bait is obvious. The ball left Menoncello’s hands forward, therefore it’s a forward pass. Stop trying to create engagement for your blue tick - yes I get the irony that I’m adding to it, but hopefully this will stop others

@thomascorbet_ar Exactly. Not out of the hands forward... play on. It was a long pass as well, with the 22 line nearby, which would naturally accentuate any physics at play. Ruined a great try.

Absolute disgrace to call back Lynagh’s try. Menoncello slows down and remains in front of the ball, it’s simple physics. Shame, farce, and shame again. #IREvITA

@RuaidhriOC In the grand scheme of things it makes absolutely zero difference as we’re not winning the 6N anyway, miles off it. Team was a million times better as soon as he came on, should be focusing on that rather than the missed kick.

@ek_rugby This try showed prendergast's strength, ball to the line to the last second. But could he tackle better is another question. Another discussion needed about his kicks for points.

Such a good team try from Leinster. Excellent draw and pass, attackers running at inside shoulders to turn defenders in and the speed from Van der Flier to finish. #LEIvSR

24 minutes gone. So far Matt Carley has given us; “No Will”. “Stop Will”. “Will Stop”. “Leave it Will”. “If you speak to me again, you’ll leave the field”. He’s yet to be penalised. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #LEIvLAR #LEIvSR

@TheLooseH language like that totally diminishes any comment. Imo Carley was poor, inconsistent all gane A lecturer for Leinster at every infringement, mc carthys penalty was soft, this happens all the time, same with the Clarkson one for not rolling away, he didn't effect lar's ball.

@Johan_Jordaan72 @threeredkings By sorted this by now, you obviously mean years ago unfortunately Porter has always done this, it was just the extra power of sa showed how poor his technique is

@threeredkings Hi Tom, when I look at Porter, he is on the angle before the hit. Then folds in when the pressure comes through. I feel like scrum coach should have sorted that by now.

We have absolutely nothing for South Africa in the scrum. Nothing. I've rarely seen a set piece so lopsided. If it keeps going like this it'll be a yellow card every other scrum. It's not impossible to win from here, but it's in miracle territory.

@BanderWagon @jim_demps The ref and the replay showed, initial contact on the shoulder, but then some contact to the head. No arms equals never legal, any head contact should have meant a yellow

I fear we’re well into the ‘not enjoyable’ territory now. Can’t blame South Africa at all, but this is the most disjointed game I’ve seen in a long time. Just put them out of their misery.

@RyanTScott @jimhamilton4 How was Sasha EVER legal, he went into the tackle without attempting to wrap his arms, then some (marginal) head contact. There same as Ryan, illegal with head contact should be treated equally

@jimhamilton4 For everyone on the inconsistency. J Ryan was ALREADY in an “always-illegal act of foul play”. Sasha was NOT in an “always-illegal act of foul play” passport.world.rugby/media/j5senlan… I am 🇺🇸 btw, so sure make a joke/banter how could I even know rugby, lol

La Rochelle blessed not to have a man binned for another cynical offence so close to their own line. Maybe the scrap meant the ref forgot about it. Very lucky to get away with it.
