@sahouraxo Sorry, but blowing up bridges is now a war crime? What? You can say you disagree with the war, but destroying logistics capabilities like bridges has been the basics of military strategy in every war ever fought.

Israel is wiping out critical bridge after critical bridge in South Lebanon. Civilians can’t flee. Ambulances can’t reach the wounded. Entire communities are cut off from food, medicine, and essential supplies. This is intentional. This is a crime against humanity.

@TruthSynod The three of them were given a tangible preview of the coming kingdom, not a mere symbol, but a real, experiential glimpse of Christ in His kingly glory. 6/6

@TruthSynod The words Jesus spoke do not necessitate rewards being given. He said some would “see.” Ask yourself: did Peter, James, and John see Him in His majestic, kingly state? Certainly, Peter tells us as much. 5/x

3 NT passages (no citations) that tell me Israel will be restored: 1. Apostles will judge 12 tribes in the eschaton. 2. Jerusalem trampled by Gentiles until times of Gentiles fulfilled. 3. Peter says Jesus must remain in heaven until the restoration, as predicted by the prophets

Has X determined if you can lose your salvation or not yet? I see a lot of people have been working on that one for a while. Just want to check in to see where we’re getting with that.

@rootcausesleuth I could totally make fun of myself for continuously trying to solve the Israel/Church debate. Don’t worry, I’m self aware. Lol

The time of Christ was during the transition period between old covenant type/shadow, and new covenant fulfillment/reality. Temporary earthly-physical ---> Eternal unseen spiritual. The fall of the temple in AD70, which was the earthly-physical symbol of the old covenant world, was the consummating event. The way back into the holy place fully realized. The completion of all redemptive prophecies.

Paul said it was being restored in his day. That is what Romans 9-11 is all about. The "Fullness of the Gentiles" is Ephraim (the Dry Bones) entering into Israel. Paul equates the Gentiles receiving the Spirit as the restoration of the Twelve Tribes. It was already happening and was almost complete when Paul wrote Romans in A.D. 58

@scripturesvoice I have a response in favor of past fulfillment, but not now. 🤣 If you're interested, I can share my take later, when I have more time.
