So, there are rumours that @PierrePoilievre may take a seat in Edmonton.
Let me say this. I hope he does because when Alberta separates, he will lose his seat for a second time. That would be impressive to see.
On a more serious note, the people in Edmonton didn't vote for Pierre and it is so wrong to circumvent the democratic process to save face for a part leader.
He lost his seat after 20 years of service in his riding. The voters have spoken. To now insert yourself as an unelected member because you are the party leader is very Globalist and elitist of him. Even @MarkJCarney didn't do that, he called an election to win his seat.
I hope the people in the riding get loud about this and reject this "appointment" because the facts are, Pierre lost, he took the CPC down with him, and imposing himself on voters who didn't vote for him would be the end of his political career and the CPC.
Be a leader, and step down. At least @theJagmeetSingh had just enough class to do so.
