‼️Update: On Tuesday evening, the Court in Pardubice ruled to remand two suspects in custody for allegedly setting fire to the LPP company’s warehouse on Friday. One of the detainees is Youssef Moursi, born in Egypt and a U.S. citizen. He is a student in Czechia, writes articles for the far-left group Druhá Směna, and is also active with Shella Radio, nur.prague, and tadamun_kollektive, which operate out of the Ankali club in Prague. They face 20 years to life in prison for a terrorist offense.

To date, I have edited hundreds of timelapses, and one of the recurring questions in the comments is whether military activities in war zones can be seen from space. Until now, I hadn't detected anything like that, but in this case, around Kyiv, flashes and lights can be seen that do not seem to be related to natural phenomena like lightning or meteors. I wanted to ask some other enthusiasts/experts I follow here on 𝕏 what they think about it (cc @Marco_Langbroek @planet4589 @DaveAtCOGS @_TheSeaning ) The IDs of that photos are around ISS074-E-80140 taken by @Astro_Kimiya on Dec 26th, 2025.
