Was würdet ihr machen?

@GordonGekko For many people this is the best way. Don’t forget that many lottery winners can’t handle bigger money amounts and even go broke or in debt after some time.

@hitRECordJoe you can't stop marching forward in a prisoner's dilemma like it is. If the US stops China will take the lead and vice versa. If both stop another nation would step in.

@kimmonismus Did it think in your tests? Without thinking it is quite bad, with thinking it is very good. IF necessary add "think hard" or something to make sure to get the much better thinking model.

From my initial testings GPT-5 is as bad as GPT-4o on instruction following. This is a real bummer. No improvement at all - but I need more testing to validate this.

I miss o4-mini and o3... I only get routed to some stupid non-reasoning model as a Plus user. I'm thinking about cancelling the subscription. It's not fun and I'm honestly depressed.

@minordissent High IQ won't matter in the long term. Everyone will soon have an AI in his pocket that has a much higher IQ than every human in the world. You may as well start enjoying your life instead of trying to build what machines will do more efficiently.

The purpose of a high IQ is to solve puzzles that other people need solved so they will give you money and status and power. If you waste this ability on video games and navel gazing about the horrors of existence, you are going to have a bad time.

@davidpattersonx Money can not be meaningless as long as there a scarce things like a beach house that not every one can have. I agree that nearly all jobs will be automated though.

By 2030, AI and robots will replace all human jobs. Everyone will receive free money from the government, which will be worth ten times more than the average salary today. Work will not exist, money will be meaningless, and we will value love and service to others above all.

1/ I retired a few months ago and quite often I get asked how I did it. They think I'm this multi-millionaire for doing so. Yes I've done quite well for myself in crypto the past 8 years, but I probably retired with less than many think. Here's my advice 🧵👇
Nova@CryptoGirlNova

Today is a monumental day for me in my life. Exactly 4 year and a half ago I lost everything I had in crypto and it wasn't through my own inexperience. Today I finally quit my job and won't ever need to work for a boss again in my life. It's not because Bitcoin hit $80k today. It's not because the market is surging again. That part is pure coincidence (or maybe the heavens being kind to me 🤗). I planned this move for years. I didn't quit based on what I will earn in the next run (that's foolish as it's unpredictable). I quit based on what I already have and earned. I kept my job as long as I could and didn't quit even when I was long past 6 figures and above. I quit because I can with what I have today. Anything more in the next year is pure bonus. I haven't been able to rest and enjoy life for all the past few years (juggling a full-time job, crypto after hours, maintaining a family, real-life obligations). I finally belief I slowly can (the grind won't completely stop but it'll get easier without the job at the office). At the same time I bought a property in Portugal this year and will have fully moved in 2 months from now (courtesy of the beneficial Portuguese crypto tax system). Living close to the beach truly is a life hack. There's no real point of me telling this all and frankly maybe a lot of you won't care and that's fine ofcourse. But most importantly what I really wanted to share: Whether you lost everything. Whether it was because of your own fault or inexperience or someone else's. It doesn't matter. You can come back from everything as it also happened to me. I'm 7-8 years in crypto and 4 years ago I had to start from 0 again. 3-4 years down the drain (I did keep the experience though). At the same time I could have never retired early without crypto (I'm 32 years old). This space can be horribly brutal, but it can also be life-changing. I hope every single one of you can achieve the same 💙 Nova out 🤝 (a young retired individual)

DeepReserach: An agent that changes everything I know i am late to the party (Germany was asleep)- below I summarized the most important aspects of this new agent - uses a version of o3 - trained on RL (looks like RL is the next key to good models) - works independently - searches the web - already 26,6% on Humanitys last Exam Today we’re launching deep research in ChatGPT, a new agentic capability that conducts multi-step research on the internet for complex tasks. It accomplishes in tens of minutes what would take a human many hours. Deep research is OpenAI's next agent that can do work for you independently—you give it a prompt, and ChatGPT will find, analyze, and synthesize hundreds of online sources to create a comprehensive report at the level of a research analyst Powered by a version of the upcoming o3 model! The ability to synthesize knowledge is a prerequisite for creating new knowledge. For this reason, deep research marks a significant step toward our broader goal of developing AGI, which we have long envisioned as capable of producing novel scientific research. Deep research independently discovers, reasons about, and consolidates insights from across the web. To accomplish this, it was trained on real-world tasks requiring browser and Python tool use, using the same reinforcement learning methods behind OpenAI o1 Deep research may take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to complete its work, taking the time needed to dive deep into the web in the next few weeks, we will also be adding embedded images, data visualizations, and other analytic outputs in these reports for additional clarity and context. Deep research was trained using end-to-end reinforcement learning on hard browsing and reasoning tasks across a range of domains. Through that training, it learned to plan and execute a multi-step trajectory to find the data it needs, backtracking and reacting to real-time information where necessary. The model is also able to browse over user uploaded files, plot and iterate on graphs using the python tool, embed both generated graphs and images from websites in its responses, and cite specific sentences or passages from its sources. As a result of this training, it reaches new highs on a number of public evaluations focused on real-world problems.
