@LazlosGhost also, non-emulation aside: digital in and of itself can look gorgeous when lit properly. it's the lighting. always has been, always will be

@LazlosGhost it's not (solely) the celluloid - it's the digital sensors being too sensitive & the studios/DPs being too cheap or cowardly to effectively light scenes the same way one needs to when shooting on film. Digital emulation can look incredible when lit properly.

@thinkofacard @wyliecovfx his helmet is super reflective, so there would be no way to capture some of these angles without CGI in the pipeline. you'd constantly be seeing the camera & crew otherwise
