Michael was sassy, funny, and playful, but he struggled to directly confront staff who were mistreating him. Instead, he often delegated the tough conversations to the women in his life, especially his two exes.

I’m so sick of all this “Michael Jackson died 500 million in debt” nonsense. Michael Jackson gave over that same amount to charity. So here's a better headline… “Michael Jackson donated over 500 Million dollars to charity during his life. And some estimates say that number is still low and closer to a Billion.” --------------------------------- I will not allow them to try and paint my uncle as this financial failure who died in debt. That’s their narrative. I will always paint him in the correct light. A charitable man who believed in giving away more money than he earned and who died still owning music publishing assets worth over 2 Billion dollars (and that’s a low estimate).

@chotiari @wil_da_beast630 Discoid lupus can cause the skin to heal with keloids after it’s cut, which is what kept happening to him. That’s why he continued to undergo surgeries. This is documented and was confirmed by the doctors who treated him over the years.

@chotiari @wil_da_beast630 Angela, let me break it down. Based on the AEG transcripts detailing his medical history: the first surgery was to change his nose, he had also broken it at one point. The rest were due to fixing scarring from lupus. The scarring caused so many issues he had trouble breathing.
