If you believe this poll covered on CNN, then more than half of responses believe that Trump is part of an Epstein cover-up, and even his own base disapproves of his foreign policy. The results are not good for the midterms at all.

@squirrelscorr @Right_Memer @Timcast I am no "war hawk"! I hate war! I have many friends and family who serve/have served. The whole Iraq/Afghanistan debacle was an utter failure. However, Iran has been a thorn in our side for 40+ years. BRIC can not be allowed to succeed! Iran and Venezuela was supplying that oil.

Now supply stayed the same but demand increased. Higher prices regulates demand to prevent shortages. Unless you want to go full commie you can’t stop it.

In the 80s we used our proxy (Iraq) and provided chemical weapons killing over 250k Iranians. Our proxy Israel attacks them regularly. We need to just get out of the ME.

So, unless we plan to nationalize our oil industry, it is subject to global markets. Less supply, more demand, domestic companies would be incentivized to sell abroad to higher bidders.

@squirrelscorr @Right_Memer @Timcast America recieves 0 oil from the straight, so that has 0 effect on us. The straight being closed could potentially lead to the US selling more oil. So that is far from a negative imo. Prices would be high for a while, but once output was increased, prices would stabilize.
