okay, officially want to try partnering with someone on marketing for @initialcommitco. i handle all design + development, you handle all marketing. we split the final sale 50/50. we'll build the product, grow it to $1000 MRR, then we'll dutch auction it. repeat. this will be very fast paced and you'll need to be resourceful as hell. initialcommit.co/auctions — examples of stuff i've built in the past couple of years specifically to sell. joshpigford.com/projects — everything i've ever built. goal would be to drop a new product every 4-8 weeks. yes, i know, insane. my superpower is hyperfixation and i need equal energy from you. i believe we can sell these for $30-50k each given they'll have revenue. possibly more. ultimately an experiment. interested? dm me with why this idea gets you pumped and why you think we'd make the perfect team.

Code is just a temporary interface between humans and computers. LLMs don't need it.

@arvidkahl @VincasStonys If most developers can produce similar results then value contribution comes from providing compute power (tokens, CPU, code gen.) It seems to be a new economy emerging as you said like bitcoin mining or eth staking

@VincasStonys The assumption is that it MIGHT improve the performance in some extremely rare cases. Folding@home and SETI@home operated on the same principle: if thousands of people help with calculations, results will appear faster. Bitcoin mining is exactly this, too.

Been thinking about the Ralph Wiggum loop a bit. We now have an opportunity to do for Open Source what Folding@home did for protein folding research. Spend a few thousand tokens a day on a single run, trying to improve the performance of a random OSS library/project. Thoughts?
