I think I blew some dude’s mind today explaining that changes in rail gauge at some country borders doesn’t necessarily stop trains, they just change the trucks and go on their merry way. He had been quite adamant that trains could not cross the Polish/Ukrainian border.

I was looking for a photo of NICK / NK tower, and found this. Actually @retEngineer did and shared! Originally NK (New yorK) under the New York Central, after the merger with the Pennsy it was referred to as NICK as to not be confused with their tower also called NK (NewarK).
